Another Pot of Coffee: The former Johnson Street Market space gets a different coffee-related tenant

Al Hadler is on a mission to bring better coffee to the break room. Waite Park residents might know Hadler better as the guy behind the wheel of the big red Al’s Coffee van. The lifelong Northeaster opened a new business this summer in the former convenience store space on 33rd Avenue and Johnson Street.

Video: Arbor Day celebration in Northeast Minneapolis

I took a break from my business and technology reporting yesterday to film this video of an Arbor Day celebration in my neighborhood (Waite Park in Northeast Minneapolis). Volunteers and students helped plant more than 80 trees around Waite Park Elementary School as part of a National Arbor Day Foundation event.
